Augmented Reality at the Danube Canal
We are currently seeing a lot of demand for augmented reality applications. A new app for exploring digital artworks was launched in April: Vdonaukanal
The Vdonaukanal app makes it possible to experience 15 augmented reality artworks along Vienna’s Danube Canal. An interactive map shows the respective locations. The objects are displayed within an AR player and can be viewed and explored three-dimensionally by visitors both on site and remotely. If you missed the opening on 24 April, you can catch up on your visit to the digital exhibits at any time. It is also worth taking a look at the Vdonaukanal website, as special themed tours by participating artists are offered on a regular basis. Just like the other day in the beautiful sunshine at the floating gardens. So: download the app and off you go.
