Raise your depot treasures
The exhibition space of museums is physically limited. Even large museums, such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi, can only present a fraction of their artworks to the public in temporary exhibitions. It’s high time to unearth the hidden treasures in museum depots: Through digital collection exploration.
Making your complete collection accessible to a wide audience? The introduction of a tool for digital collection exploration such as our Collection Explorer makes this possible. This complements your range of permanent and temporary exhibitions and enables you to fulfill your core task of communicating art even more comprehensively. We have already made the extensive collection of the Louvre Abu Dhabi visible in this way. We are currently developing further Collection Explorers for smaller and larger museums in Iceland, Sweden, Germany and Switzerland.
Interface to the existing archive system
Thanks to the interface to the market-leading tool MuseumPlus (zetcom), the Collection Explorer can be seamlessly integrated into your existing collection management system. Data can also be easily imported from other archive systems.
Digital collection exploration – the future for museums
Features such as timelines, automatic search suggestions, topic browsers and 360° views give your users extended access to extensive, otherwise hidden depot holdings. Visualization and digital storytelling also make it possible to communicate art and cultural data in an innovative way and place exhibition objects in surprising contexts. Whether basic or high-end customized: we adapt our Collection Explorer to your ideas and work with you to find the best solution for the digital exploration of your depot treasures.
