Outlook 2024
Exploring the digital collection – Louvre Abu Dhabi
We bring the Louvre Abu Dhabi‘s online collection to life digitally. Through various views and filtering options, users can interactively explore the collection, gaining insights into the museum’s extensive array of exhibits. Furthermore, a Virtual Gallery allows for an immersive 360-degree tour of the museum.
What’s noteworthy about this project is its backend: A direct integration of the existing MuseumPlus collection management system (by our partner zetcom) through an API into the web app is a considerable relief in everyday museum life.
Interactive camera collection with 3D objects – WestLicht. Museum of Photography Vienna
The web app enables digital exploration of WestLicht‘s camera collection, accessible on both mobile devices and computers. Around 100 out of a total of 400 cameras have been captured as detailed 3D models for exploration.
Our app doesn’t just provide comprehensive camera details but also captivating ‘Stories’, narrating the histories of various camera types. These ‘Stories’ are directly linked to individual cameras, allowing for seamless transitions between the cameras and their associated narratives.
The app presents itself with three different views: List, Tile, and Timeline. Highlight filters, such as ‘Reportage Cameras’, facilitate quick searches for specific camera types and are available across all views. Additional filters further refine the selection. Discover cameras by format, country of manufacture, or year of production.
Experience biodiversity with “NEO – Discover Nature Online” from Museum Koenig Bonn
Together with the Museum Koenig in Bonn, we are developing a learning platform, especially for children, young adults, and school classes about the fascinating world of biodiversity. NEO offers three exciting programs that playfully convey knowledge:
Expeditions with Mr & Mrs Koenig: together with a ranger, users embark on an interactive journey into the African savannah, once the research area of museum founder Alexander Koenig. Numerous tasks await the players: Quizzes, picture searches, memory games, eavesdropping tasks, and much more.
Fantasy landscape: Creativity is stimulated by designing your own fantasy landscapes and fantasy animals.
Interesting facts: What is biodiversity? What can I do to increase biodiversity? Illustrative examples and ideas from the museum make complex issues understandable.
