For the Swiss company Medela AG we designed a digital installation for the 60th anniversary of the company. The room installation is the digital counterpart to a publication that is to be published as part of the anniversary.

The basic idea of a book was taken up and further developed in our room installation. Employees, business partners and suppliers can use the installation to immerse themselves in the company’s history and discover the various international locations:

  • Concept: Interactive room installation with touch screens
  • Multimedia Storytelling
  • 3-D globe

Corporate presentation via app

The interactive installation consists of a spatial, analog and two stationary, digital visitor experiences (apps) integrated into it, as well as two video screens, which convey content on the company’s locations, culture, history, products and innovation & research. The design incorporates Medela’s CI and graphically and atmospherically links the various aspects of the company’s motto “Science of Care”.

The apps’ two main themes are internationality and corporate history:

  • Medela Globe: the worldwide locations can be discovered via 3-D globe graphics
  • Medela History: dive into the company’s history via mulimedia storytelling & timeline with milestones of the company
