In cooperation with the agency Realtime Visions, we developed an in-house guiding app for the new permanent exhibition, which guides visitors through the museum in Stuttgart.
The Federal President Theodor Heuss House Foundation commemorates Theodor Heuss, the first President of the Federal Republic of Germany. fluxguide developed an in-house guiding app that leads visitors through the exhibition and adds audio content to the media stations designed by Realtime Visions.
These audio contributions can be accessed by scanning a QR code or by entering a numerical code.
The Mediaguide works as headphones for the respective media station. The soundtrack of the video and audio content of the respective station is played synchronised on the visitor’s device. So there is no unpleasant background noise in the exhibition space and visitors can listen to the content immediately in their own language.
The media guide also makes it possible to call up in-depth information and transcripts and choose from specific tours through the exhibition. For example, even very young visitors can access the exhibition via a tour that breaks up the complex political content with playful quiz questions and conveys it in a child-friendly way. Visually, the app is based on the design of the media stations, ensuring uniformity and a clear overview.
"fluxguide developed the media guide for the Theodor Heuss Haus based on our ideas and designs and provided it on suitable devices. The lip-synchronised audio track, which can be heard exclusively in the media guide and harmonizes perfectly with the media stations in the museum, was particularly impressive."
