From April 2024, Vienna’s Danube Canal will be transformed into an open-air gallery for digital art. With the Vdonaukanal app developed by us, 15 augmented reality artworks along the canal can be explored interactively. A map shows the respective locations. At these hotspots, visitors can learn more about the object and experience the artwork interactively. It is also possible to view the works from home – turning your own living room into a digital art gallery.

App Features

  • GPS map
  • AR player
  • Remote 3D object exploration

The app is now available to download from Google Play and the Apple Store.

You can find out more about the project on the Vdonalkanal website.
